Take Massive Action on Your Goals

October 6, 2010

For the next 30 days just take massive “ACTION” on everything you say you want to do for God: family-business-health-relationships. You need to gain momentum and keep on moving; don’t stop!! In the presence of fear and doubt, just take massive “ACTION” steps anyway! It does not matter how small the “ACTIONS” you take are, simply keep moving and don’t stop until the task is completed! Reward yourself and encourage yourself for the small things you get accomplished that day!!

It’s in the little steps, taken consistently, that will bring the outcome that you desire in your heart. Remain faithful and committed to your God-given dreams and goals and before you know it, you shall be walking in your PURPOSE!!

You will experience frustration, doubt, and even fear but as long as you keep taking small ACTION steps, consistently, every single day, even when you don’t feel like it, you will overcome those negative influences that come to kill, steal, and destroy your dreams. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes, it is inevitable that you will. It is a part of life, and they are not really mistakes but life lessons that train you to be a winner in this life and to be able to teach others through your acquired wisdom, knowledge, and understanding.

You are the kind of person who needs lots of structure. Setting daily and weekly goals works well for you, and it will help you to stay focused and moving. Without the needed structure in your life, you will become unfocused and spend time in areas that have absolutely nothing to do with your dreams and goals. Keeping a daily activities log or calendar of scheduled tasks is another thing that will be extremely beneficial for you because it’s very structured and task oriented, which is what you presently lack and need.

Begin this strategy immediately. By nature you are a person who likes scheduled events and tasks, so you must allow some room for flexibility. This will require extra effort on your part, but you can do it! It will require discipline, which you can learn. It won’t be necessarily easy, but it is obtainable.

Don’t get caught up in the trap that says, “I don’t feel like it.” Allowing your emotions or feelings to make decisions for you will eventually cause your dreams and goals to die and lead to laziness, complacency, and mediocrity – ALL dream thieves!!! They key to overcoming this trap is to simply keep taking massive action steps each and every single day of your life, for every area of your life.

Take a day to evaluate your progress and make any adjustments where it is necessary. Because you have all your tasks written down daily, does not mean that everything will always go according to your written plan. This is where your flexibility comes in. things will come up some that are legitimate things and others are merely distractions. The biggest distractions will come from family and friends, and the other main ones are the telephone, television, and Internet.

Establish a set time that you designate as “WORK HOURS” and stick with it! Designate a time to take a break and when you return phone call, check emails and respond to emails. Determine what’s priority and what can wait!

Move Ahead with F.O.C.U.S.

October 6, 2010

God continues to deal with me about focus. I have been experiencing distraction on a level that I have never experienced before as I shared in earlier blog posts. There have been many days, sad to say, that I have wasted ridiculous amounts of time and end up asking myself where did the time go? Or complain that time is going too fast! Today, the Holy Spirit gave this acronym for the F.O.C.U.S. If you have been having a problem with focus as I have been having, I pray that you join me ...

Conquering the Impossible

May 26, 2009

“In all things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” (Romans 8:37).

If you watch and listen to the media, you hear words and see images that produce and escalate fear in the hearts of people around the world. The people watch and listen to the media the more fear seems to overtake their minds and hearts. Christians are even participating in the recession and fear that is in the atmosphere of the world. This should not be so.

The Bible tells us that we are in the world b...

Absolute Surrender

May 26, 2009

During my morning devotional time, I read the following and wanted to share it in its entirety with all you; I was really impressed to do it actually.

Andrew Murray writes, “We have heard it before, but we need to hear it very definitely – the condition of God’s blessing is absolute surrender of all into His hands. If our hearts are willing for that, there is no end to what God will do for us, and to the blessing God will bestow.”

Absolute surrender means that our lives must be tota...

Feast of Celebration

February 18, 2009

I use to have lots of parties pity-parties.  Sometimes I would throw a party several times a day, during the entire weekday, especially on week-ends.  I was always the guest of honor. I don't throw or attend pity-parties anymore.  I used to make out the guest list.  I always invited self-hatred, hatred of others who wounded me.  I invited strife, contention, and unforgiveness came too! I always invited guilt and condemnation, self-consciousness, envy and jealousy.  Fear and Insecurity would t...
